Make Your Location Female Friendly with AutoTex PINK. Show Your Customers You Care By Offering Wiper Blades that Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness and Research
PRWeb

AutoTex PINK provides installers and retailers with an opportunity to offer a product that naturally appeals to women as well as men," said Paula Lombard, President of WEXCO Industries, who developed the windshield wiper blade brand a year ago. "The Cone Report states that more than 86% of consumers, given equal price and quality, would swtich brands or companies to one that supports a good cause. Everyone needs wipers blades, so why not offer one that supports an important cause like breast cancer awareness and research?"

Products with a pink ribbon or ones that donate to breast cancer are not new, but Lombard and AutoTex PINK are the first to bring the cause to an automotive product. AutoTex PINK windshield wiper blades come in a standard black color with a small pink ribbon promoting the cause of breast cancer research and awareness. They are available in metal or frameless and fit over 98% of vehicles on the road.

Sales of AutoTex PINK windshield wiper blades generate donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (http://www.nbcf.org) or the Breast Cancer Society of Canada (http://www.bcsc.ca). The company hopes to raise $50,000 by the end of 2010.

Because of its uniqueness, Lombard and AutoTex PINK wiper blades were featured on the Lifetime Network's "The Balancing Act" on October 14th. During the segment, which was part of the show's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Special, Lombard discussed AutoTex PINK's campaign to "Wipe Out Breast Cancer" as well as some car care tips for women. The show will re-air on October 28th from 7 - 8 a.m.
