UPDATE 1-Avnet Q1 tops Street, sees solid Q2

Oct 28 (Reuters) - Electronic-parts and computer hardware distributor Avnet Inc's quarterly results surpassed Wall Street estimates, helped partly by acquisitions, and forecast a strong second quarter.
