Oct 15 (Reuters) - Oil and natural gas explorer Concho Resources Inc said it bought additional oil and gas assets in the New Mexico shelf of the Permian basin for $285 million and settled a legal dispute with Apache Corp and BP's U.S. unit as part of the deal.
