U.S. stock futures sag; Intel, Fed minutes eyed

* U.S. stock index futures pointed to a lower open on Wall Street on Tuesday, with futures for the S&P 500 down 0.78 percent, Dow Jones futures down 0.73 percent and Nasdaq 100 futures down 0.79 percent at 0848 GMT.
