Renewal of the contract was dependent upon the success of the previous five year agreement. Snowbound will continue to be listed as a preferred government-approved vendor under the new five-year agreement, providing document and image viewing and conversion applications and development toolkits to federal, state, and local governments.
Commercial firms like Snowbound Software establish long-term government wide contracts under the GSA Schedules Program. These schedules provide government agencies and contractors with access to over 11 million approved commercial supplies (products) and services at guaranteed discount pricing. GSA Schedules also provide fast, flexible, cost-effective procurement solutions that allow Government customers to meet acquisition challenges while achieving their missions.
In order to receive a contract, the General Services Administration evaluated and approved a number of criteria including Snowbound’s professional capabilities, corporate structure, performance history, and customer satisfaction. Snowbound’s contract number GS-35F-0716R, is effective through July 2015.
