NEW YORK, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Bank of America today announced that Alan Ginsberg has joined the Financial Institutions Group at Banc of America Securities as a managing director. He is based in New York and reports to Tony Ursano, global head of the Financial Institutions Group.

Ginsberg comes to Bank of America from HSBC, where he ran the US Financial Institutions Group. Prior to that, he was a managing director in Financial Institutions at Credit Suisse First Boston and previously was a managing director in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS.
