Mid-2006, when Twitter was born , the domain name Twitter.com changed hands for $7,500 , chief executive and co-founder Evan Williams tweeted yesterday night. Roughly four years, 145 million users and 300,000 third-party applications later, I wonder what it's worth today, particularly given the fact that the Twitter website still draws a massive crowd according to the same Williams.
