The Charlotte PHP Developers Group will host its first meeting in seven months on Monday, September 13 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The meeting will serve as a "meet and greet" for existing and potential members and will take place at Brio Tuscan Grille in South Park. Heavy appetizers and drinks will be provided by event sponsor, online marketing company Red Ventures (http://www.redventures.com).
"I've made it my personal mission to turn this group into a productive networking channel where you can not only meet other like-minded people but also learn something along the way," said Jason Hunter, who now runs Charlotte PHP Developers. "We're already expecting a great turnout for our first event and hope it will be the start to a great year for the group."
The event will be an open format, allowing guests the opportunity to mingle and share ideas. There will also be an open forum where members and non-members can talk about their experience and suggest topics for future meetings, as well as ideas to help the group grow. Those interested in attending should RSVP by visiting http://www.meetup.com/PHPDevs/ (http://www.meetup.com/PHPDevs/).
