Stock Picks for Thursday August 26
( click to enlarge )- The technical chart shows the stock is on a bull market as the stock is trading above both the 50-day and 200-day moving average.
- The 50-day moving average in mid of August has crossed on top over 200-day moving average to form Golden Cross
- KD line crossing upward
- Institutions have been buying the stock in the last quarter
- RSI shows the stock may be ready for a rebound
The stock has been one of the strongest stocks the past month as it has traded from $6.36 in July, up to $8.18 in mid-August. The stock has pulled back to the $7.50 range and seems to be setting up for another upside move. I'm a buyer of MOT once it breaks $7.58.
( click to enlarge )GIGM broke out today, and I am looking for a continuation move on Thursday. Heavy volume came in as GIGM broke through its resistance level of $2.05. From the technical chart it looks like GIGM is ready for another rally as %K line is on top of %D line indicating buy signal. In addition, the stock is back above 50-day moving average again, another positive sign.
( click to enlarge )After a solid breakout on rising volume GNBT has pulled back to support near $.40 and should set up for its next upside move. The stock might trade in a tight range in the next sessions, but I will continue to watch in case it makes a move. The resistance level stays at $.491. Keep watching GNTB for the next few trading sessions.
