Asian markets mostly higher, China Life sparkles

Most Asian markets end higher Tuesday, as Shanghai and Hong Kong shares rise after an upbeat forecast from China Life Insurance Co., while China Southern Airlines Co. jumps on plans to raise funds through a private placement.
