JPMorgan May Have Set Its Earnings Bar Too High
JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) has posted banner results for its first three quarters of 2009. So the pressure is on to end the year on a rising note, when the bank kicks off the financial industry's earnings season on Friday, Jan. 15. However, the New York bank might have set too high a bar for itself. Several Wall Street analysts in recent weeks have dialed down their earnings expectations for JPMorgan.
