"The goldpoints plus Visa card becomes even more valuable to our members by allowing them to earn points with every purchase they make using the card."

Guests need only earn a minimum of 5,000 Gold Points a year to earn Silver Elite status, and 10,000 points a year to earn Gold Elite status.

Upon reaching the Elite tier levels, guests have an even greater earning potential with 25 percent and 50 percent bonuses respectively on the points earned on hotel stays. goldpoints plus members have earned twice as many bonus Gold Points per member since the launch of the program's new tier structure in 2005.

Members can also earn and redeem points through Gold Points Reward Network with a vast array of award options such as free hotel stays, dining, gift certificates, plus merchandise options from leading brands. Carlson restaurant and cruise operations, including T.G.I. Friday's(R) restaurants and the luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises, are also part of the network.

Guests can enroll in goldpoints plus at any Carlson hotel in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America or at goldpointsplus.com or a participating Carlson hotel brand Web site.
