Reduced Volume Eases Sting Of Mostly Down Day
Stocks finished mostly lower, with volume down sharply across the board. The NYSE composite dropped 0.4% as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 0.2%. The Dow ended just a hair above break-even. Apple (AAPL) sank further below its 50-day moving average, slipping 4.37 to 188.95 in brisk trade.
