IT Security Survives Global Budget Cuts

Sixty-three percent of executives in a global survey say spending on IT security will rise or stay the same in spite of a downturn. The survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers and CIO and CSO magazines is based on interviews with 7,200 execs in 130 countries. It says the results show that companies are protecting their information security systems from budget cuts. Respondents, at the same time, seem to be under intense pressure to make sure that
